The state government allows the patients registered with MMCC and have MMCC ID cards to travel with their cannabis products but within the state boundaries. Here are some rules that should be followed by marijuana patients during their travel plans:
- The patient should have his/her MMCC ID card and doctor’s recommendation while travelling with cannabis products.
- The patient should have physician and lawyer’s phone numbers so that he/she will be able to make a quick call whenever needed.
Also, remember that you can not convey marijuana to federal lands because marijuana is still illegal as per federal laws, even if you have a medical cannabis card.
